這部劇是08年下半年冒出來好得出人意外的爆笑小喜劇。本來作者想拍個電視劇，但找不到真人演出，又找不到動畫師幫他畫，于是就自己摸索著用動畫軟體做了個短片，然后拿去參展，竟然被HBO看上，就此搬上螢幕，成為繼Flight of the Conchords后，HBO又一最新喜劇杰作。本劇圍繞主人公TIM的工作生活展開，講述了這個囧男每天被同事調侃，被女友折騰，被朋友涮鍋的種種窘事。整集25分鐘的動畫，雖說沒有笑的前仰后合，不過一直是讓人欲笑還抑之的狀態。雖然畫面很簡單，甚至可以用簡陋來形容，不過精彩詼諧的對白完全彌補了畫面的缺憾，甚至使原本簡單的畫面更透出一股靈氣。更加值得一提的是，本劇的配音演員口齒清晰，發音純正，語速雖然快，不過用詞簡單，是難得的學習口語的優秀教材。不過先提一下，畢竟是成人動畫，所以有些段子還是有點顏色的，不要把它想象成PG或者是G級別的動畫。
